This has been a week in which we have tasted many excellent wines and it has been difficult to choose. We decided on this one because it is such a great summer wine, full-flavoured and still fresh with a silky mouthfeel.
The 2019 Chenin Blanc has gone through natural fermentation in 20% new oak. Complex fruit on the nose, orange, ripe spanspek melon, granadilla and loquats. A sunny wine with a great balance of fruit and freshness. It appears almost slightly aged in character, but has the potential to keep for several years in the cellar. R140 from the cellar
