It is not
often we get the chance to taste lots of premier wines from good French
areas with a little German, Spanish and New Zealand thrown in for good measure.
This tasting was held at a new venue (for us) in Woodstock, The Local Grill
which is also the site of The Woodstock Brewery. We arrived very early – our mistake – coming
on from another function and were able to do a small tour of the brewery first.
Then it was upstairs for the intense tasting which was very well attended by
sommeliers, wine buyers and private wine collectors
